Our local Asda's have been trialling them from a local supplier with a view to selling them nationwide, I believe the feedback has been positive :)

You get the best ones in Stockton mind ;)

Jeff the Chef parmos :D

I make them as a part time job :(*

The bloke who owns the company 'jeff the chef foods', is my mate, and when he got the Asda contract, he was caught rather in the poop as he had no staff (he was really small time before Asda) so asked me to help out, therefore i do a couple of days a week.
Rest of the country keep an eye out though, they may be coming to an Asda near you, they are considering a countrywide roll out.

Oh, and back on topic....

Best chippy, Revolution in Whitby (they do crinkle cut chips and they are awesome).
Best burger / kebab shop, Biancos in Normanby, they absolutely pile the chips on.
Best parmo used to be Munchies II in Eston, they closed down though due to illegal immigrants i think :p

Sammys kebab swindon.
Sammys special, epic mixed kebab for like 7 quid, one of them and a large portion of chips, i actually thought my stomach was tearing open and i was bleeding internally and going to die, but it's so worth it. Not greasy but not dry, perfect cooking.

I've tried some interesting ways of having a kebab in there too lemon juice is actually not bad, and mint sauce is quite good on a kebab.

I wanna get one of those munchies boxes, looks so good, and for 4 quid!

chicken garlic salt looks good. Tried the squid version.

Chilli beef for the win, care to share the recipe ;)

if its shredded crispy chilli beef in a sweet 'n' sour sauce youre on about then OM NOM NOMMM. love the stuff mind you it better be crispy! :D

am quite intrigued by these munchie boxes, more investigating needed :p

parmo ? it cant :( theres a few places in newcastle that do them but they do them completely wrong :( eg. the place across road from digital does them but with tomato sauce instead of bechamel

desai grill up in heaton puts tandoori sauce in them instead of that. Theyr a bunch of wrong-uns in newcastle when it comes to parmos.
Theres pams pizza shop that make em too.. really badly.

KFC isn't bad until you realise the coating is mostly salt.

Chinese feels the most healthy of the fast foods, whether it is or not is another matter though!

Not really a "greatest" but Chinese takeaways in Plymouth are far better than the ones around where I now live. Cheaper, more and far tastier.

Odd thing is all the Chineses I've eaten in Plymouth have been very similar, and all the Chineses where I now live are the same, just very different from Plymouth... Odd as they are all individually owned.

Definitely not the one I had today.

Went to one called Friar Tucks (Have a few dotted about NI) and ordered two burgers.

Both had blue moulded baps.

Got money back and won't set foot in the place again.

Just had a terrible portion of chips from a chipper called Hass.

Will not be going back there again, 5 chips and rest in bin.

Know exactly where that is, and been thinking about getting takeaway from there for a while, don't think i will now, cheers for the heads up!
