This, my mum was the registered keeper of the Saxo, had no issues with insurance.

The car is owned by me and insured in my name.

He's just adding his parents to the quote to bring his price down a bit, which, as long as he's the main driver, owns the car etc (which it seems he is) is fine.

Sorry forgot to say I also added my mum.

With the celica its my car and my mum is insured on it, damm my gran would be if she brought the quote down.

I didn't see mention of a compulsory, but I will look.



Their fully comp quote was over £1k, on their 3pfat it's 0 excess for accident claims, and £150 for fire and theft claims.

I'm with elephant at the mo and just checked the blurb on the back of the policy schedule and the compulsory excess if your under 21 is £350 + your voluntary excess, I'm 26 so mine's £100
