Beep Beep?

built first pc 2 weeks ago

core i7 [email protected]
ud5 mobo
6gb hyperx
xfire 4890s

it all seems to be working great
prime 95 18hrs

burn test 100loops

world in conflict:

fps avr 93

min 42

max 275

all good

BUT no Beep @boot up....and id really like to hear my Beep

there has never been a BEEP ...id just like to Know please o please where o where has my little beep gone

On more serious note, there may not be a speaker built in on that board? Some have a small one you plug in.

Dont know if this has any bearing on it at all but is there anything in the bios that stops a self test, reason I ask is I have an old mobo somewhere where you can turn it off and it doesn't beep at you at all ......... just a thought thrown in there

i will run threw the bios ...but i havnt come across a beep remover

Plug a speaker into the motherboard before you start messing.

As said, make sure your speaker is plugged into your motherboard correctly and if it is try another speaker. If you have an old case you should have one in there.
