I've been chosen to sit on a large pole!

I lolled when that guy came up and asked her to dance for money.. I'm guessing he didn't see her slightly non-believable monologue about 'dancing'

why are so many doing bugger all?

Should have just got some of the thousands of street entertainers who would love this slot to do it.

She’s a dancer but won’t dance, just sits there being baited by the crowd, all she wants to do is sit there. :D

I'm pretty sure that isn't her real voice... And she lied about lieing about what she was going to do... and she's not a dancer :p

Obviously more convincing than I thought ;)

I am an actor, so my hour is going to be spent running my own monologue. I will be in costume as a Roman Slave Girl, but if you want to see if my performance will be a scene fit for the Palace of Caeser, you'd better come and see me. LOL

LOL. She lied to get on the plinth. Said she was going to raise money for charity. What a bitch!

The selection is totally random - It doesn't matter what they say they're going to do as it has no bearing on whether they are chosen or not.

Completely relevant. You said that she lied to get on the plinth. That's not possible! It doesn't matter what anyone puts on their application, it has no bearing on who is chosen. The selection is random so therefore it's not possible to lie in order to get selected.

/edit - In fact, I don't think that you have to say what you want to do when you apply. So even more so, it's not possible to "lie to get on the plinth".

Bwahahahahaah

"My name is Andie Bevan, I'm an actor. I'm not really a dancer. I've been performing for you." She's done just what she said she was going to do on her 'about' page which is perform in character!
