Having never been before I'd like to go but the ticket prices seem a little nutty i.e. the 'Platinum' tickets are £99, reading between the lines slightly better seat and a book, I'm not sure the £35 more over Gold is worth it and even whether that's worth it for the 'paddock tour'.

Did anyone go last year, thoughts?

Went last year, excellent day out, all you need is the gold, you still get the paddock tour but you just have to wait until the platium holders have been round.

if thats the case i would go for gold and not platinum ... tempted to go now
