If you could go anywhere on holiday where would it be?

if i could only go on one holiday, it would be to Bora Bora, 4 flights to get there and in the middle of nowhere.
 
At the moment it would be to South Africa to see my friend i havent seen for 2.5 years. Other than that Canada would be my choice of place to visit.
 
I'm off to cancun at the start of Oct.

Only going for the week due to work commitments, and it seems like a hell of a long way to go for a week, but screw it

You'd probably just about get it for £1200 for the 2 of you but £1000 is unlikely

Then its just a case of getting through £1200 worth of all inclusiveness :)

No big or clever... but its our plan
 
Incan trial or trans-Siberia railroad. Oh forgot kyak, rafting, hiking in Yukon
Probably both out of price range. even if it was your cup of tea.

There isn't much hope of anywhere like NZ/Australia/Japan on that.

NYC would be a good option, but would be quite tight on that budget. Boston would probably be more expensive, but if you go during the 'fall' it will be amazing.

Iceland would be good too, but not if you want hot weather!
 
Indeed. He's not just saying "where can we go for £1k?".

I'd like to go to Italy, as it's the only foreign cuisine that I like consistently really.

I'd recommend NYC, we spent £1111 for 5 nights there but you can get cheaper accommodation. Exchange rate has worsened though so could be tough to get a full week anywhere decent.
 
1 week skiing in Colorado for 1.3k everything paid for! Truly amazing place to go. Also second the person that said Corsica, also stunning.
 
Duno, old places in America like u see in blues brothers etc.

Tho id be enjoying somewhere cold like old uk weather where it was rain and cold lol. I miss the old weather. Damn you ozone layer etc. :(
 
Take her to Stoke. A few years ago in the local rag 'The Sentinel' some councillor claimed Stoke was "just like Paris". See if your girlie agrees :D
 
Some great ideas thanks guys. Yeah the 1k (ish) is not a strict budget and is just for flights and hotel.. spending money is another story! Better make sure we go somewhere with no shops if Im taking the gf...

Even mentioning the word stoke would make her throw up! ;) She's been just about everywhere and so Im looking for something a bit different that's new for both of us... along the lines of... http://www.giraffemanor.com/ Hell yeah!!!!!

Anyone been to any crazy random places they would recommend? It doesn't have to be your typical bf/gf romantic week away :)
 
That would be epic...but reading in men's health this month...sunshine makes you 120% more horny... I think sunshine is the way to go ;)
