looking for a fan and I've seen this on on a few sites but not on here.

I've heard it to be quite effective but it's a sleeve bearing fan, does that make any specific difference?

I had one, however I swapped it for a Zalman 9700NT. I think the ASUS was the better cooler however the blue LED looked terrible in my Green nVidia case.
I am sure there are many new CPU coolers out there that are i7 compatible in the future.

q6600s run hot (Well overclocked Q6700s do anyway) I was getting, around 39c idle and 60c running Prime 95, this was at 3.6 Ghz though!

my 955 is currently at 28-34 degrees idle and have seen anything over 38-39 degrees in l4d with my zalman 9900.

I was running the stock, then I replaced it with the Akasa AK-961 but that didn't perform much better (wouldn't have expected to anyway but some noticable difference would have been nice for the price).

This was on my e8500 and need something that looks nice but also performs.

Colour wise I might either be stuck with red led's (if I go for a haf) or blue (if I go with 902).

Struggling to find something :(
