PSP 1000 still worth having?

I'm thinking of getting a PSP, but before I commit I was wondering if the original is still worth having, or are the newer models much better?

All I want it for is the new GT PSP really. First one plays the same as the most recent ones I take it.

Just go for the slim if you have a choice. Much bettery screen and battery life. Or, wait for the PSP GO which is launching with GT.

Got a phat one in the end.

Traded in some old games I hadn't looked at for a while, and ended up paying just £10 for the PSP! I got more for the games at trade in than I had originally payed for them

Perfect condition, no scratches, hard case, 2gig stick, and a copy of Vice City Stories still in it. Bonus
