E-mail accounts and iPhone....

Hello,

I have a hotmail account setup on my iPhone.

Works great every 1 hour checks for new mail and downloads.

How can i set up the account or iPhone so when i remove e-mails from the hotmail web site it also removes them form the inbox on the iPhone ?

I don't think you can get it to work, well atleast mine wont do it and I've tried all the settings I can see.

It wont delete off the server when removed from the iphone or vice versa

I have got the iPhone to remove from hotmail account if u delete from the iPhone.

I just want the other way round, delete from hotmail (web site) to update my phone and delete from iphone inbox !

Would it work if u changed to say google mail ??

I did it by going,

Settings - Mail - select mail account from top - advanced - delete from server - when removed from inbox

You can't do it the other way round. You will have to delete the email from the iPhone manually. This really annoys me as my Nokia phones did do this.
