Terminator 2 : Judgement Day

No, I think Cameron is a good director, and probably the best action director out there. But he's a distinctly average screen writer (Titanic anyone?) and like all directors he needs to be kept on a leash.

M

I always felt that Cameron is like a educated Michael Bay, whereas Bay just bludgeons you to death with slow motion garbage and crap dialogue, Cameron can actually tell a story and set a tone throughout the film.

Does the extended version of T2 have a scene with Sarah in a park? And this bozo is playing what they "deem" a futuristic game of frisbee - though you can see the string/handle really easily.

Common, you allso see chronicles of riddick 50 times a year, along with fast and furious films

i didnt know it was on untill 20mins ago, so ITV2+1 *** :D

You mentalists; the extended version is a million times better. The chip, the T-1000 failing, etc. It's much fuller.

This. The smiling scene is from the extended cut too I think? Also the whole chip reset thing gives weight to John teaching the Terminator stuff as well as the "I know now why you cry" scene. Without it it's just like "oh ok I can teach you stuff lol". It's also pretty tense when you think Sarah is going to smack John's hand with the hammer.

That's an alternate ending, only included as a supplemental and not in any of the cuts.

Ha, I didn't even know there was an alternate ending. I prefer if they just ended it with that than have 2 more films made.

Anyone who has decent film taste would consider anything post T2 non canon, and that's putting it nicely. That said I thought Salvation wasn't bad as an action romp, T3 was dire though. My friend thinks T3 is fantastic though, but I've basically left it with him that perhaps on it's own it's wouldn't be the worse film ever, but look at it in context of what came before it and it's a steaming pile.

T3 was pretty much a CRAP film apart from the end! The whole bombing sequence was actually ok! I mean having THAT many nukes go off is a bit silly but the idea and concept was well portrayed.
