Cheapest way to get a new "3" phone today... (urgent)

I've checked out what they have to offer on the net, non of them are really that cheap. I was looking more for "tesco have one for a fiver" type tip off.

go to tesco, get a pay and go phone for 8 quid, unlock it for a 10, bobs your uncle.

You're probably not going to get a cheap 3G phone unless you go to three.

They're more expensive for a reason!

You can get the skype phone on PAYG for £39.99

I can't see any other cheaper phone, however they used to do a "lost and stolen offer" when I worked there. i.e. if it was your first time that you lost the phone, you could get the a replacement handset (usually at the lower end of the range) and a replacement SIM for either £40/£45. You need to call them up to check if this is still running.

You should be able to get £11 back if you go through quidco, so that would make it £28.99 for the Skype phone on PAYG
