On the bottom, 2 rows of programs and using Taskbar Shuffle. I can't stand it when I'm on a machine set up to group similar task bar buttons. Does my head in!

I think thats the first thing I do when I install windows, disable group similar buttons.

I am also a bottom man tbh. Windows 7 taskbar is a great improvement over previous so I am happy to have it on show.

+1 that's me!

I know some noobs, who also frequent these forums, who use it at the top, same O/S!!

I stated they are just MAC wannabe's now... :)

Bottom.

Why do people hide it btw? I can understand it on a tiny screen to save space but not with a 17"+ screen size.

Hmm, bottom at present, but i might switch to Left, Hidden and shrunk, as it would show more tabs than the bottom arrangement.

Irritates me having it showing all the time when its not necessary.

My last Samsung LCD had the taskbar burnt on:p (annoying in games). I guess hiding it could stop this.

Bottom and not hidden - I used to hide it, but my screen is big enough that it doesn't serve any use anymore. I did go for a time of not using a taskbar at all and just using task manager as my shell - that lasted a couple of weeks before I got annoyed with it :p

Linux - well that's on the top and I quite like it there.

Mac Dock - Hidden but at the bottom - for some reason hidden works better on a mac.
