50% off CoD: World at War on Steam!

im tempted to get this (for online play ONLY) but i really wanted COD4 online as i dont like those old world war weapons :( but dont want to pay £30!!! for either game but £14.99 sounds a good offer

so my question: is the online play worth it on cod5??? (even with the horrible WW weapons!)
 
I guess I will get it but not sure if I will even start playing it right now as I am far too busy.

If the MP is half decent then I will give it a go. :)

trouble is,Modern warfare 2 is due out soon:) and that will have great online play :)
 
My friend tells me there are a couple of map packs, does this download include them? If it doesnt are the packs free? How big is the game? I have 2mb internet so get around 220 kb/sec download rates and dont want to spend 10 hours downloading it!

just bought it for that price;) to good to turn down!!
anyway it's going to take about 5hrs on a 2meg bb lol
 
It will include the map packs. They are included in the auto updates that Steam does. They are free of charge. It isn't bad in SP, but I aren't a fan of the COD SP in any of their editions, sick of respawning enemies. Online though, this one beats 4 by a long way.
 
Me and my mate bought it today, £15 is a good deal! I wouldn't of bothered if it was £30.

Just waiting for his download to finish
 
The download is taking such a long time on my connection :( At least I can back up my steam folder and never have to install it again though :D.

co-op is awesome, zombies is great fun :D

and yes it is worth it, its exactly the same as cod4, but little better graphics, more maps, more fun with zombies co-op, theres veichle maps, its all good and worth it
 
Got this for half price from Steam, not as good as COD4 but well worthwhile nonetheless, some good moments and some very good scenes.

Steam's 50% off deals are great, I never would have bought the game otherwise.
 
Only got this for the solo play which I found fantastic in the previous game. Solo is shocking in Cod 5 though a terrible, frustrating experience. Can't understand how they can get a game so right (cod4) then do one so wrong (cod5)
