Not perfect, one of the batteries in my camera died and thus the decent battery failed quickly too
Will have another crack at some point!

I think it would be great if the sky was a bit darker. Also I would crop out the tree at the bottom, there isn't enough of it to constitute as a foreground subject. Cracking trails though.
Perhaps next time try it with a proper foreground object, I guess if you're doing it for 3 hours you'll need something static, like some rock formations, or a building or something.
What was your post processing technique out of interest?

Not my first go by a long shot! Its just im at a mates where I can setup the camera outside so I can watch it do its thing (and make sure some scrote doesn't run off with it 
)
I started abit too early really, about 9 when it was still pretty light and thus I had to ditch 15 mins of it before It became acceptable.
As for PP, nothing, just merge them using a startrails app and then upload.
Need to contack sterlingtek to sort my battery out tho :/

you need to go off somewhere FAR FAR away from the city, with some isloated barn as a backdrop or something, that is what's missing as you have the technique down pretty well.

The lightness isn't pollution, its just residual light from the sunset.
Its pretty minimal light pollution here.
However im heading back to Bristol soon and hopefully find some place to do one of the Clifton Suspension bridge.
Going to need two good batteries to do my planned 5 hours!

I think even at the smallest aperture that would cause over exposure!
Yeah, a series of combined images makes for a far more pleasing result. I experimented with some 5 to 10 minute bulb exposures at the same location and it just didn't work out as well (quite apart from shorter trails). Here's one:
The above pic also features a 'moonbow' - a rainbow caused by moonlight
And here is a better composition that includes a visible North Star (the one in the centre!):
The trees in the foreground were illuminated by passing cars on an otherwise pitch black road and the squiggle of light on the top right of the cliff is actually sustained torch light from rock climbers camping on the face.
