How much water do you drink?

I don't know, I don't measure it. I'm guessing I drink somewhere in between enough and more than enough, but not as much that dead druggie Leah Betts.

I used to drink LOTS of diet coke, but have since switched to water and squash every so often. I probably drink around 5-8 pints a day.

3-4 litres a day. but not plain water either squash or diet coke. Unless I have a bag of ice on a hot day. Then just ice and water.

Probably about 3-4 litres, perhaps more as of late. I am going to have another blood sugar test as recently it's been drink-toilet-drink-toilet for days.

the evidence has changed and so has the advice - drink when your thirsty, it makes no difference any other time - its water, not magic happy juice.

Actually most "in the know" will disagree.

Thirst is the first sign of dehydration. Therefore if you only drink when you are thirsty then you probably aren't getting enough water.

See here http://mayoclinic.com/health/water/NU00283/NSECTIONGROUP=2

"...It's generally not a good idea to use thirst alone as a guide for when to drink. By the time you become thirsty, it's possible to already be slightly dehydrated. Further, be aware that as you get older your body is less able to sense dehydration and send your brain signals of thirst. Excessive thirst and increased urination can be signs of a more serious medical condition. Talk to your doctor if you experience either..."
