Although I don't see myself going back to Debian, that's good to know. I'm sure I read on Debian's download page that they don't release isos except for stable.

Yea, unstable is sort of packages being built and modified on the fly, testing is nightly builds, and stable is a testing build released, then subsequntly, PTF releases.
You generally have to be careful when installing testing. I have had many failed installations because the iso is not completely consistent or correct. Keep this in mind if you are a beginner and using testing. It may not be your fault that the installation did not proceed as expected. Wait a few days or a week and download the iso again. Fingers crossed.
That said, after the second try, I am a very happy user of sqeeze (testing release name).
