Sean Connery - met him in Edinburgh years ago with my then girlfriend, lovely man and his wife is really nice too :)

lol I met him when I was five when he came back to visit his old school.

I saw Phil Jupitus at the fringe and then randomly met his nephew when I moved to southampton.

I don't think I've ever met anyone remotely famous. The closest I've come is nodding at the presenter of Click (BBC computing program) as I was walking through London.

Bono
Terence Trent d'Arby (is he famous enough?)
Green Day
Ian Brown
Pete Waterman
Lots of Man Utd players from the late 80's/Early 90's (Beckham, Giggs, Robson, Cantona etc) they used to drink around Altrincham and in the Four Seasons hotel.
A fair few Premiership & International Rugby Union & League players.

Sure there's load more but my memory is fading!

Chas 'n Dave
Pretty poor tbh.

ah yeah

chaz and dave played at the funeral of one my good friends (benny hill's manager), rod jane and freddie were there from rainbow too :p

It was the best possible funeral, if there is such a thing, doubt I'll go to many more with stand up comedians and chaz and dave playing him out!

Sir Alex Ferguson, couple of days ago (Visited the new Man Utd supporters premises) Had a little chat with him.

When I was a lad (<7 years old) I used to spend a fair bit of time* in a pub they drank in.

*not the healthiest of upbringings possibly!

Not me personally, but a friend served Peter Crouch and his girl friend in a bar thing.

Said his girl friend was stunning and really polite, said Peter Crouch was a "******* *****" said he was arrogant and cocky and was basically waving money about.

I've met the Arctic Monkeys, don't live far away from my Grandparents. Played football with them.
I've met Kasabian, see them about town quite a lot.

Roy from Corrie he's a Sheffield Wednesday fan and is there every so often! Really nice bloke, him and the drummer who went out with Liz are down every so often, nobody was talking to them while they were getting something before the match. I ran up said hello and hugged them both and was chatting with them for ages. Top Blokes.

Met a fair few Sheffield Wednesday players, Roberto ? the Swansea manager ! Lovely bloke, was chatting to him for 20 minutes before a game once, Sky people came and dragged him away.

Sir Bobby walked past me once when I was in a box at Manchester United, was sat near the directors box. My Uncle wouldn't let me touch him
I did say "hiii" and he said "hello" in a very typical grandad kind of way.
