Ya - Karak-Norn is an EU server. They sent me two e-mails even! Did not want to at first, but my mate started again and I thought I would have a look.

Not regreting it so far..... time will tell I guess. It is more'ish, but less so than wow, which suits me fine :).
 
What's the lag like now? I've got a RR67 Squig Herder on Karak Norn but I quit ages ago because of the terrible lag in Fortress/City fights, it was the only thing that put me off the Game really, was just unplayable, my whole Guild quit because of it too :(
 
No idea, have never been involved in any. My mate says it can get laggy though. will report as and when I get to one.

lag is awful and always will be :confused:
 
from my experience, from release, to now, there were loads of performance optimisations.
its a fun game, just missing longevity.
 
I quited the game after only it for 3 days. I will never buy another MMO unless they got the 7 or 14 days trial.

Personally I'm not playing and MMOs - best decision I've made in a long time. I do continually get WAR offers of 10 days free if I log back into my account, don't even need to supply my CC details, but frankly why bother? The game is flawed, as is almost every MMO on the market. I've better things to do with my time and frankly can have far more fun playing non-timesink games.

WAR had a huge potential which wasn't managed as it was the same bunch of muppets who ruined DAOC.
