Just about to take my driving test!

Well I'm just about ready had a shave **** and a shower lol. Just got to give the car a quick clean then I will go and drive for an hour or so.

I hope I get an examiner that talks to me

Cheers, everyone is telling me this I hope i will be fine as i have been driving for a long time with my Dad. Had 2 weeks worth of lessons now and the instructor always did a practice test, I only failed one with a silly mistake. I hope all goes well because my theory test runs out on Sept 20th :rolleyes:

One thing that helped me.

Remember - the examiner is not there to fail as many people as he can. So just be calm. Do what you need to do to pass the test.

If you make a mistake, don't let it affect you. For all you know it might just be a minor. I made a mistake pretty quickly on my test, but I just kept my head down and carried on. He ended up giving me a minor for it and I passed anyway.

I had two examiners on my driving test!

Fortunately the second guy was there to make sure the examiner was up to the job so that made me feel better as I wasn't the only one having a test in the car

The funny thing was is that i thought i failed when i just started :rolleyes:

I was turning left onto a busy road and i was waiting for a long time and I thought i got a major fault for hesitating :eek:

But my instructor had seen it and told me it was safer to wait

You'll never get a major for hesitation, unless you stay there for the whole test!

I got two minors for hesitation but it was clear that it wasn't safe for me to pull out.

I got a major for hesitation for not pulling on to a busy round about. The traffic wasn't moving and if I'd joined I would have blocked the round about for everyone else trying to get round the outside. I guess I wasn't being selfish enough!
