How expensive is o2 data usage in Europe?

Data gets expensive very quickly when abroad. Better to find a wireless point if you want to use data really. :)

Why does o2 say you have to phone them to arrange roaming? Can't you just go and set it up yourself (settings > choose network, all there is to it right?) when you arrive?

Data abroad is always quite expensive - in Europe, Vodafone charge you £5 for first 15mb in any 24 hour period then £5 per mb after.

Last time I used this for 2 days in a row, and they made a mistake and billed me £5 for each mb ... luckily I noticed and they credited it!

basically its just to set up a bolt on for a month that makes calls quite a bit cheaper from abroad. you dont have to do it but its advisable if your planning on calling a lot. also its free to receive texts but to receive calls it will cost you 18p per minute. im currently at work but if you want to know more ill give you some more info when i get home (i work at o2 btw just if u were wondering) :)
