£4100 on a 1.6 Civic Executive 2002

JanesyB is so like me, aged 18, with Citroen Xantia diesel that absolutely was great, even had it in the sig, that it scares me.

??? But you do rock around in an 11 year old pink Fiesta!

What do you trust? A Sony Ericsson W995 that has issues interpreting colours as shown in my fail thread, or an image taken on a Canon 350D as seen in my sig?

Except I'm a good four years older and I don't bleat on about how great my car is, I just end up constantly defending it because I refuse to pile on debt to keep the internet happy. I know what a good car is, I know how crap my car is in the grand scheme of things, I'm not under any illusions of grandeur as many think I am. I'm just a frustrated petrolhead :(

Janesy, why are you so defensive about the fiesta? Its only a Fiesta which youve said yourself will be replaced soon, so whats the issue over taking the flack?

Hahah you really can't take a joke about your car can you? :p

It's a crappy old Fiesta mate ;). Nothing wrong per se, but then again nothing particularly redeeming about it either :D.

I'll ignore your petty jibes and ludicrous accusations safe in the knowledge that you are talking out of your bum :)

Really? 9 posts. 9 posts I've counted of yours repeating that it was 'Crap value for money' NINE. You even took time of your life to search for 10 cars on 2 different websites that you have no intention of buying what so ever, just to prove a point that everyone in this thread already agrees with.

Mind telling me how that isn't just a little bit obsessive? :p

Whats the Fiesta being replaced with?

According to his list of cars in another thread, another Fiesta, possibly one a lot older.

What's got up your bum in this thread Jansey?

You're counting through my posts and I'm the sad one? All those cars were on the same page and it takes a couple of seconds to copy and paste a link :)

Nothing gets my bum up, I don't swing that way :p

I just love how my car gets dragged into it and then everyone turns round and says STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUR FIESTA.

HXC is nearly right. I'm after a MK5 Fiesta Zetec-S, as new as I can get. Why? Because I want a small hatch that's cheap to insure, handles well and isn't a Saxo. Maybe when I move out of London I'll be able to insure something proper :)

Anyway, this has continued too long and I've been forced into making myself look like a tit again. I believe the OP's question has been answered and we can go back to our daily business :)

And rusts chronically? Seriously, you keep implying you are loaded and could easily afford not to drive an old Fiesta - excellent, there are many brilliant hot hatchbacks out there for you to drive. Get a Clio Renaultsport instead.

Because to most people a Mk5 Fiesta is as dreary as the Civics you've spent plenty of time criticising in this thread.

what is it about civics? Generally japanese cars don't do much for me, (with a few exceptions) but why does there appear to be lots of different Honda cars, all called 'Civic' all of which appear to be bland jap-econo-boxes. The styling appears to be so bland and 'safe', except the latest 'triangle' one, which although different, just looks like a 'mound'. Not slagging anyones car, just wondering what the appeal is.

i cant stand the look of a standard looking civic, till you start putting JDM parts on and other nice n tidy mods then i love the look of them

would do more to my civic but no point when the VTI is just round the corner, thats when my money will be going on JDM parts

cheap to run and very reliable, my only downside is my age (20) insurance love to rape you on the eg/ej/ek series

but like fox said in a previous thread ,maybe something ill grow out of... and im yet to try anything german engineered ;)

though i do love and prefer the look of old jap cars so could be a while befor that happens

[TW]FoxAT?

for somet so little and on the internet, that dint half make me laugh haha

I have money, because I REFUSE to spend £2000 insuring a 172/182. I'd have one in a heartbeat if I could. If a 100bhp Fiesta is costsing me £1000 to insure, well you do the maths and work it out.

How is it costing you £2k to insure a Clio at 22 I was paying half that at your age for my 530i with only a years NCB! Then I stuffed it, lost all my NCB and STILL only paid £1200.

I'll run some quotes and it'll probably be even more. My area is terrible. I can halve my premium by using a better post code.

Christ have you actually ever BEEN in another car?? Why on earth would you /pay money/ to have another clapped out Fiesta?

Am sorry mate but a Mk5 Fiesta is 10x more dull than a Civic!
