So of course i run... and use my ONLY splinter nexustone thingy to teleport back to the nexus not realizing until i get there 2 things! 1) i was in soul form anyway 2) i had hardly any souls so i could have just used the free nexus teleport thing you get.

bah! so after all that i'm no further on exp wise. But at least i didnt die so theres a chance i can get my body back and about 4k of souls (doesnt really bother me as its not that much - you dont seem to get much killing stuff in 2-2)

The 3 in 2:2 are npc black phantoms. If I recall they fell down a hole and died in my game, easy souls. There are several NPC ones scattered about and in some world tendency events, some of the named NPC's may be phantoms.

And yes, every black phantom I have encountered be it NPC or PC has had a red glow with a darkened body.

I just ran at them and killed them, they are pretty week, as for 2-2 there are a few good places for souls, namely the big bugbears, think they give 1.5k each, just watch out for the explosion when u kill them.

There are two NPC Black phantoms in 2-1 (just before the crystal geko nest). They are easy to kill and one of them will drop the Black Stone.

Looks good! Lighting looks a little odd though, like on that Gametrailers footage about 40 seconds in the character is producing a light source but the actual fire torch on the wall is barely producing anything - just looked off.

That may be from the pre-patched version, as they patched in shadows or something not long ago I believe so now it may look better?

I can't believe how hard NG+ is...

I've had help for nearly all the boss's in world 1 & 2, yet now I'm trying to do 1-3 as I want to free Yuria yet as soon as I summon someone I get invaded and killed by them

Tried a few times on my own, yet it's so hard I've probably lost around 80,000 + souls in total. I really think I have moved on far too fast meaning my stats and weapons aren't good enough atm.

Think I'm going to have to farm for a bit so I can level up before trying to move on any further.

! I still get annoyed trying to do 4-2. Those ******* that hide in the shadows (reapers) make me throw my controller in the air

I'm still farming level one. Gonna kill the dragon on 1-2 I think to net some experience and get the shield in 1-1.

Can anyone recommend the best place to import this from? Im really interested in the sound of this game, definately sounds a bit different, and it'd be nice to get it direct rather than scouring ebay for a good deal though

Im presuming Multiplayer/Phantom-age works fine from an EU PS3 providing you're using the Asian copy like everyone else?

If your ok with Ebay thats where I got mine.

UK seller first class recorded delivery so was with me the next day. £38 which is fair enough if you ask me.

Yeah they are buggers, had some help to do that level although it's not to difficult once you know where the reapers are and where to snipe them from.

Renchi seems to be the best place if you don't want to use ebay. A few here ordered it from Renchi, also multiplayer works fine over here with the Asian version

I actually dont mind Ebay at all; but with something like this, I'd prefer to buy from a shop as less chance of fakes

Me & two mates ordered through ebay, and none had a problem. Also you can get some sellers based in the UK meaning you'll get it quicker and sometimes cheaper.

Ordered off the bay, once you added postage costs; Renchi was looking a fair chunk more expensive. Just did a bit of checking to see which one at the £40 mark had the best reseller rating.
Once I've got the hang of this game; will have to add a few people from here to my friends list...my ps3 one is almost completely empty unlike my 360 one!

ordered from someone named mario128 or smt from the bay. I was lucky coz the bid ended at £36 (i had bid up to £40) inc postage and if i remember correctly it was with me within 5 days

that shield is verrry handy as quite a few enemies use fire-based attacks

You could just nab it if the WT is pure white. No dragons then.

btw - this game for me gets Best in game realisation of a Dragon. The screen shakes when they breathe fire heh.

dont quite understand the WT and BT just yet. I know I can kill the red dragon with a million arrows though so will give it a go

have you tried equiping it and then fighting fire enemies? The game still lets you use gear that you dont have the stats for but not as effectively. (i think)

I used it for the laughing fat **** and also in 1-2 running the gauntlet of fire breathe attacks (coz i was stopping to pick up items)
Major pimpage was against the spider though.

It would be cool if swords and shields could break either through disrepair or if a force so powerful whacked it.

weapons and shields do break i think, i have had a weapon get damaged as its durability reached 0 had to use 1 of those whetstones as i was in the middle of a quest.

The problem with using that shiled with less than 22 str i wouldnt be able to roll and dodge as effectively.

Nice, I take it you have 1-4 left to do? Also what level are you as NG is incredibly hard so make sure you level up as much as possible before you start over.

Wait until you bump into the blue one in 1-4, it's huge

Took me 70+ heavy arrows to take it down.
