Well since WJA96 just gave me a boatload of hardware, the only things i need to keep from my current computer are the disc drive, the hard drive, the RAM, Motherboard and CPU. The CPU is an E2140, which when overclocked is okay (for the moment at least). So what i need is a new motherboard and some new RAM since what i have at the minute is pretty rubbish (pre built). Budget of something less than £100. Thanks in advance :)

Since that RAM isn't available any more... although it's still in my basket :p

Would a G31 board be okay? If i can save some money on that then maybe i could buy some bits for the water cooling setup he's put in. Just some fluid and anti-kink stuff but it all ads up.

The offer must have ended in the last hour - but there will be others.

If you shop around you should be able to get 4gig of memory and a p43 motherboard for under £100. I personally would stick with the Gigabyte p43 as it's essentially a p45 chipset but without SLi and a few other extras. They're a great value board with good clocking capabilities.

You will make very little saving buying a g31 (~£10) - but if money is tight then you must always be governed by that first. But if you plan on overclocking the p43 would be better suited to your needs (in my experience) - you could save for the water cooling while you get used to the system and its setup.
