most riders are now insuring themselves and as stated there is now an exam for riders to go on the road. the only thing lacking is tax and lets face it they dont exactly create much wear and tear.

This is true BUT my father lives in the middle of the country and ive had the same attitude me in my clio vx220 fiesta, ofcourse a few are polite but most of them simply turn there nose up ....

fine then on that basis anyone who doesnt say thank you for being let out into traffic in another car for example should be taken off the road.

unfortunately not, however there are rules layed out in the highway code also that the police can enforce if necessary etc

Nope but i seem to see a bit of a trend. That isnt the real problem really the fact is there just not suited to our roads anymore. I know they say that they were there first yada yada yada but times change and unfortantly they have no place on our roads anymore

I actually think its crazy there still allowed to crawl around the countryside

im going to quote the gf as she just hit the nail on the head i think:

"horses are a pain as they slow people down thats what peoples real issue is"

I actually think its crazy there still allowed to crawl around the countryside

and i think its crazy that some motorists tear around the countryside when around the next corner could be a parked tractor for example. but then maybe we should ban tractors from the road too in that case..

They still use the roads, so they should still contribute.
