That should be framed. Perfectly summed up.Snip
To use anything on the roads, I think:
a) Insurance
b) Tax
c) Some kind of basic training
is required.
So goodbye horse riders, goodbye cyclists.

Sam...you drive a noisy scoob...![]()
well thats what they have been charged with.
They shouldent be allowed on the roads full stop ....
This is true BUT my father lives in the middle of the country and ive had the same attitude me in my clio vx220 fiesta, ofcourse a few are polite but most of them simply turn there nose up ....
Sorry to hear about the girl, but I'm in the "horses should stay off the road" camp.
Is the exam compulsory to go on the road?
The fact a corner is blind means that to be 100% sure it’s safe you should slow down to 10mph or even park safely, get out and walk around the corner to establish it's safe before you continue but let’s be real, that simply isn't practical 99.9% of the time.
fine then on that basis anyone who doesnt say thank you for being let out into traffic in another car for example should be taken off the road.

OK, WTF?!
I actually think its crazy there still allowed to crawl around the countryside
im going to quote the gf as she just hit the nail on the head i think:
"horses are a pain as they slow people down thats what the real issue is"
and i think its crazy that some motorists tear around the countryside when around the next corner could be a parked tractor for example. but then maybe we should ban tractors from the road too in that case..

most riders are now insuring themselves and as stated there is now an exam for riders to go on the road. the only thing lacking is tax and lets face it they dont exactly create much wear and tear.
