I was in the supermarket the other day and saw "Ironing Water" for 99p a litre... I thought that was pretty daft!

Hard water can wreck your iron, though at 99p a bottle for soft water, it's probably not economic to use.

Not that I use it, but if you try ironing with water straight from my tap your clothes will be covered in white dust and the iron will fur up incredibly fast.
