One of my mates has a £5k list on his 997 after a three weeks camping trip hooning around Europe. It needed £2k to get though the service and be allowed back on the road and the other £3k he holding off on.

The found scorch marks on his clutch for some unkown reason....

was an indy place that did MOT, tyre is obvious once pointed out, Porsche Centre Nottm meention the discs a while ago when thye changed ABS sensor but I couldn't see prob so thought is was usual game, turns out prob in on inner side of discs

Just get front disks and pads changed at an independent with OEM parts if possible.

Tyre from costco assuming it's michelin.

local place quoted £508 for disks and pads using OEM

now then , it looks like my Tesco Finest warranty covers discs, looking into this now

discs and pads are very simple to change do it yourself and I expect you could save loads.
