Porsche failed MOT - Quote £1000

If the Tyre is newish I'd be going back where I bought it if you know you've not damaged it in any way and a bump has developed.

been back, has to go off to Michelin to be X-Rayed etc, supplier reckons they will just blame a pot hole and tell me to go away

he did point out a nice pot hole just outside his premises, not sure what he was suggesting ;)

lol, at what point did he say hhe couldn't afford it?

I believe he is just pointing out the expense for 2 things that on other cars are not £1k to replace :p

exactly, I am just having a laugh at the stupid cost of minor items

certainly I would rather not be paying for this stuff but I need them so thats that

Failure's always an opportunity to upgrade, well not that you can upgrade one tyre.

Guess you can't just pop down GSF and grab some cheaper discs, not that you'd really want too!

prob not but it is easy to get the same makes of discs/pads for half of the price in OEM boxes

local place quoted £508 for disks and pads using OEM

I'm dreading my MOT, I have a feeling I will be required to change front discs on mine this year and at £440ish a pair it's going to sting!

At least you can justify your cost as it's a Porsche, I have a Rover 800 :p
