Turns out it was his girlfriend in the passenger seat and his dad who was watching, slightly off to the right of the first picture, wasn't best pleased :D

I can well imagine. I guess such narrow sections tyres tend to dig in to soft ground a bit, coupled with a fairly high centre of mavity.

Yup, when I went round last year it was a mud bog so the cars were just sliding. Apparently this year once the loose surface had been kicked off, the skinny tyres were cutting ruts in and it got caught in one. one of the guys watchign at the side said at one point only the offside front wheel was on the ground :eek:
