Parking near Anfield?

mind yer car fer yer mate :p

Thats why I never drive down! The amount of cars I see with their windows put through afterwards.. It just isn't worth the risk! :(

Also seen a load of kids running down the length of cars, all over the bonnets and roofs once!

Will do mate. I'll be sure to hold a sign... 'are you from ocuk?' :D

P.S. Strange question but do they accept card payments? Or is it cash on arrival? Just planning how to get £5 in change!

I went on Wednesday against Stoke and parked at Whitefield road car park (£5 secure parking).

It was easy enough to get out of the car park and i was back in stoke 11pm so not bad going to be honest!

At the car park? They accept credit/debit cards. You pay at a pay-station on exit to validate your ticket so don't loose it!

Where you sitting? My season ticket is in block 306 of the Kop.

Sitting:

Seat: Anfield Road Lower End Row 32 Seat228/229 (and no they're not both for me - I'm not that fat yet!). Would have loved to get into the Kop but no blooming tickets for that end (in the several times I've been Anfield I've yet to see a spare space in the Kop).

Joining the season ticket holders queue but that may be some time yet!

Always a good laugh in the Anny road, especially if you are near the away fans!

I'll wave at you from my seat...well seat is fairly pointless as we stand all game now...

I was wondering about that, Stewards are normally fairly arsey about getting people to sit down for league games, but they didnt seem that bothered on wednesday?

the block I sit in and the surrounding blocks have a gentleman's agreement with the club that we can stand up. It's the 1892 block as it was called...

Im sure they will have a try to make us sit, as they do every season, but it's always a half- hearted effort just to be seen to be doing something.

As you're at the opposite side of the stadium I'll have to make the sign a bit bigger! Every time I've been to Anfield I've been in the Anfield Road end. Last time the stretcher bearers were about to run onto the pitch when one guy shouted 'where's La La?' - always had a good laugh there!

My dads seat is front row centenary by the 2nd row of stairs from the kop end. Its great when the action is kop end, but you cant see anything in the other half. It also gets very wet and I've came home from some winter matches with hypothermia and drenched through to the bone.

Hi,

Just wondering if someone knew somewhere good to park near Anfield. Doesn't have to be right next to it but somewhere within 15 minute walk would be good (or if there is a bus / etc. thats fine).

Cheers,

M.

Get to hope valley school, Walton Breck Rd for secure car parking £10. Only a 5 minute walk away from the kop. ;)
