Is that thirst + ring of avarice (think thats the right ring)? Think I used my Yellow Demon's Soul to get the Meat Cleaver so I may have to purchase thirst on the NG+.

Ring of Advarice + the Soulsucker spell

Yellow demon's soul give you a catalyst upgrade (a waste tbh) or thirst/moving soul light, Maiden's soul gives you soulsucker spell

Think you used the Adudicator's soul for the meatcleaver?

I am actually . Quite like helping people on this game so I was quite disappointed that I couldn't, plus joining your game would have been a welcome change from getting my ass handed to me by the blue dragon on 1-4.

Dinakin tried to help me but he was too high a level. Pretty sure you have to be within 10 levels. Either that or my connection was a bit dodgy as i have noticed that once you login to the demons souls server you usually *stay* logged in but occasionally ghosts and msgs will not be present then suddendly they all appear again.

btw are you guys all mages ? I'm a knight

Ah yeah, sorry, idiocy prevailing. That catalyst is so rubbish, a little extra spell power but half the mana. Can't wait for NG+ to spend certain souls better.

Colourless souls can be obtained from:

a) one located on the beam by miralda the executioner (P/BWT needed?)
b) You can trade two with the Crow in 4-1, leave him talisman of gods & gold mask (not at the same time)
c) The Primevil demon in each level may leave one for you (BWT needed for the primevil demon to show up)

May be more but that's all I know of atm.

2-2 is a slog. Its lots easier now but spent at least an hour in there and im down lots of herbs and i only get about 8 or 9k (some of the big bugbears i only get 640 souls for some reason still takes a while to kill em mind not worth it at this stage)

6 minutes in 1-1 run up kill red eyes and other folk on way to him = 3k run back to nexus and repeat...

Guess which one ill be doing!

Im finding world 4 quite good for souls, those flying mantas are giving 600 per kill and the skellis are easy enough to kill.

Any good ideas on kill the boss on 4.1, I tried last night and didn't even make a mark on him and lost 20,000 souls.

Attack his stomach where it is already bleeding and he will fall over then you can attack his head to cause damage.

So quick question, as we're all playing the asian version, region is moot right now, but will the game automatically blend with the online mode if you have the internet connected to you PS3, or do you have to actually have people on your friends list and make a decision to 'open up' your world?

It's totally open, the only way to stop the online elements is to disconnect from the internet.

downside to that is if u are logged out of psn the game will kick you back to the main menu.

Hey guys, I recently got this game after waitin almost 4 weeks for delivery due to it being out of stock...

Followed it for a while and have been playing it non-stop for the last two days lol... Just noticed the thread about the game on here and was wondering if any of you guys could add me if your actively playing... currently about SL lv 25 so awefully low and not many people seem to be summoning me when im in soul form...

quite like 3-1 up until the bit where i accidentally entered the boss fiight (adjudicator) so i died and lost 15k. I thought the boss dude was the big demon up above bah!

Is adjudicator easy enuff to beat? On the plus side i can wield hands of god now (any good?) and have a couple of extra weapons and rings...too many rings really..they should let you wear more rings or turn em into nose rings etc

I would say yes, Once you know were to hit him. I just keep running around him on the ground floor, as he quite slow.

Abjuudicator, isnt that part 4? part 3 -1 is fools idol if i remember rightly, If it is 4 then the big mob in the courtyard is vanguard, very easy to kill if you have a bow.

You are correct sir.

For the Adjudicator, just keep running round him, try to get behind him if possible. Go in for strikes just after he has attacked and sprint around him when he goes to hit you again. Don't try to hide in the corner by the stairs as he can hit you through the wall there .

Anywho, time to go and get spanked by the False King again. He's bloody solid.
