Wii graphic corruption? GC games look fine.

I've decided to get my Wii out and give it another go. I bought a copy of Resident Evil 4 Wii edition to get things going. When I get into the game, theres little pixels all over the screen that keep flashing. Its only really noticable in cut scenes and when looking up at the sky.

I also have Resi 4 for the gamecube. I loaded up the GC version and it looks fine, nice and clean.

I'm guessing the gpu for the wii overheated? What are the chances of getting it fixed by Nintendo seeing as its an NTSC model?

did you leave it on standby as wii connect 24 did that to mine, overheated its buggered m8

That breaks old Wii's as the cooling fan is off.

So, do I just phone nintendo and I'll get it fixed for free? What about my sysem being NTSC.. will I still get it fixed?

Nintendo get really funny about grey imports sometimes, but their stance of the subjects fluctuates a lot.
