I heard that B+W are better, but does the multi-coat make a big difference?

for 3 quid i would go for the B+W. They are very qood quality. multi-coat means it will cut out glare and be more scratch resistant (i think).

Buy a hood, unless you work in volitile environments a lot.

Out of the two, the B+W.
