Right ive got a Panasonic TX32LXD85, it has 100hz motionflow but i notice motion blur on some fast moving images (only on games though, Cod 4 is the worst) now obviously i cant really do anything about it.

My question is (probably pretty pointless), are any of you guys tvs affected by this and does it bother you?

Unfortunately a lot of LCDs are more prone to this; even with 100Hz technologies. Its one of the reasons Plasma (and in a few years OLED most likely) is still popular :)

As mentioned above, try experimenting with any image processing options on and off, and see if it helps, they may be making image issues worse; as these sort of things are usually tailored for 25/30fps approx video rather than the 50/60Hz broadcast from current consoles and PCs; otherwise you may inherantly have a slower; more blurry panel.

I notice blur on lcd and plasma. Plasma is less prone, but it is there even on the best panels. You pretty much just have to learn to live with it and count the days until oled arrives.

Plasmas do still have it, but LCDs are worse no matter what manufacturers and blinded by the purchase users say.

Was watching a CRT around a friends parents house the other day, and even that made my Kuro look like a motion blur madman. I wish CRT tech could
have been shrunk to fit into a thinner and lighter screen :D

Ok I'm dreaming.

I still have a 32" JVC HD crt behomoth in the living room. I partly regret keeping it as any other tech I bring into the house pales when it comes to contrast and motion handling. We also got a 28" Trinitron for a fiver off ebay. It's for the spare room and handles sd and dark scenes so well that I doubt there's a panel around for any money that could perform as well. If only they weren't so damn ugly to lok at :/

Bring on oled!
