There have always been some holidays that have appealed to me and that I really want to go on, but without anybody with experience no doubt some of these will not be as great as I imagine unless I get some advice :D

I really want to see the Egyptian Pyramids, go to the Cairo Museum, Inca Trail, see the Mayan pyramids in peru.
Go and stay in Antarctica for a couple of week, see the Iceland Glaciers and scenery, and finally Tokyo!

What holidays have you been on that have been amazing and you would recommend? Post some pictures if you can!

Thanks

My family's not the Malaga sort so I'd probably recommend most of my holidays, but especially Malaysia (for its mix of city, rain forest and gorgeous islands), Egypt and Australia.

Space..

Travel the world, I'd love to see everything the world has to offer - but that isn't possible!

Edit:

I've actually been too:

Travelled around France.. staying in a tent.
Been to Spain twice, once to Barcalona, once to Almeria
Travelled around USA (As well as lived there for 7 years)
Tunisia, near Monastir - Port El Kantaoui
Visited from western area's Canada

Egypt is cool. But the one thing they dont show in the pictures of the Pyramids are the fast food chains just beside them.....

I got a picture of me standing with a KFC bucket with a pyramid behind me :p

The Museum is really worth a look in some fantastic stuff to look at.

I would also highly suggest visiting a suke (spelling) basically a HUGE market. Lots of random stuff to buy. Sellers will try lead you to there shops. You really gotta stand your ground and remember whatever price they say something is you offer them 1/3rd of it :p

Go to Antartica (it will mean I will have been on all 7 continents then), do the transiberian express in winter. See more of S.America. Climb Mt Kilimangaro.

my ideal holiday would be a tour around japan, love the culture and general wierdness of the place and into my gaming anime and manga so would love to visit there, other than there i'd generally like to visit lots of places in europe and asia

The Maldives, there's some pictures in my sig. I loved it and will definitely be going back as much as possible.

I'd love to go to Fiji one day and Hawaii.

Did a tour of most of South Africa last year for 3 weeks which was pretty awesome.

This year 'was' going to do the Trans Siberian Express but work wouldn't allow me the time off for that long (25 days), so did Marrakech, Sahara and Atlas Mountains instead.

Places I will go to in the next few years for me are:

Japan, China, Thailand, Russia, Iceland, Scandanavia and if I have the guts, Central Africa.

America and Australia have never appealed to me for some reason, although wouldn't mind Peru. Antartica is a definate at some point.

(and the suke is a souq ;))

On a list of places to experiance before I die, it's right up there with Milton Keynes.

I've been to Milton Keynes once... how do the people who live there carry on? :(

Hired a car with my best mate and drove from New York to Los Angeles.

After a couple of days to look round NY, we set off to Washington DC for a couple of days, then off westwards with no plan at all, other than the date and time we had to be in LA for the flight home, and a few places we had in mind that we might like to visit if we got chance (Denver and Las Vegas). We just decided everything on the fly, drove each day until we were bored, and every now and then we'd take look at the map to see where we were heading next.

Turned out to be a fantastic trip, we were super-lucky with the weather and saw some amazing places and scenery. I'll go back and see some more one day.
