Location is cool though, so it suits me - always amusing the looks you get!

I always find the whole "Oh, I just got this new XXXX which I want to test, can I take some photos of you please?" usually works for some quick impromptu photos

Took this in Switzerland back in 2006. Crappy point and shoot had terrible noise, even at ISO80.

Love that one mate! The contrast of the cool blue on her, and the great evening? light in the background works very nicely. Gives it a lovely fairytale feeling. It could maybe do with a bit more light on her feet and left arm, but other than that I love it. Maybe try it with her sitting on a white horse next time.

Thanks mate. It was shot at about 5pm I think. I was quite lucky with the way the light was hitting the trees in the background, where we were was quite shady. I was a really lovely peaceful area on woodland which is on the drive from hers to mine.

Yeah there is a lack of light on her feet because I was using such a small diffuser thing, it was a Speedlight Pro Kit which I was using as I had forgotten the stand for my umbrella and softbox

We'll be heading back there for a more thought out shoot, any ideas of themes/props etc. are welcome
(Not sure I can get access to a white horse though )

has any one any suggestions to getting a model as my mates arnt always wanting to have the photos taken slightly and the only lass I know is in manchester however fit she is Im not going to Manchester just for that!

I haven't actually used it as I'm not confident enough to meet a model I don't know yet. But there are plenty of aspiring models, male and female, who are willing to help in trade for portfolio shots

CRICKEY ITS THE ROZZA'S!

This helicopter was seriously low! (the pictures don't do it justice) I was down in Whitley Bay, and then this Helicopter just started scanning right along the cliffs, really low! Naturally, snap away!
