Tyres for X5

They're not due for a little while yet, but I've started the research anyway. It's been running Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus tyres since it was new and they've lasted over 40,000 miles so far. I'm not sure that's a good thing or not to be honest. I've also seen some Continental 4x4 Contact tyres for a very good price- how do these rate? I'm also assuming that I should be steering clear of Kumho and Nexen etc.?

Tyre size is 235/65/17H.

Sure it is - 235/65/17, Sessanta is made specifically for the german SUV market...

How odd, Vredstien site doesn't list that size for Ultrac Sessenta.

Perhaps Ultrac SUV Sessenta is a different tyre? Nice price as well!

The 4x4 Contact is £92 fitted. Which would be the better tyre of the two to go for?

Assuming it is entirely a road car, I would go for the Vreds.
