My K750i has nearly died, the screen has cracked, the camera no longer works and it's dropping signal.

I've found a K800i in work which I can get for £45 new. Is it still worth getting?

I'm on orange PAYG, and just use the free texts and Facebook access.

Is there anything else to consider? I really like the look of the K800i, although It's quite old now.

Thanks :)

I've had my k800i now for about 3 years, brilliant phone. My battery lasts around 4days!

Same with mine...my mum uses it though...have had it since the day it was released and is still going strong...the joystick works and the camera for what it is...is pretty damn good.

My mum loves it though...good little phone.

my mums only just changed from it and she's had it since they came out, only reason she's changed is because she's gone to an O2 contract. Brilliant phone for what it is.

My K750i joystick never had any problems, and from what I've read, the K800i is meant to be even better? :p

2 friends had them and both joysticks seized up after 10 months. Both friends always had SE phones and always had joystick problems after 10 months, even dating back to the old Ericsson T68. Maybe its just them :)

The K750i/K800i are probably my favourite mobiles of all time. I went from the K750 to the K850i, bad bad bad choice. I don't know what Sony did, but it went downhill from there. I upgraded to the C902 recently, it's a fair chunk better than the K850 but it just doesn't really feel the same as the K750i.

That era of Sony phones, with the exception of some joysticks, are built like tanks. My W810i withstood SO much abuse but just keeps working and the battery will still last a week. Quality phones.

I had the k800i for 2 years and now the c902 for a year or so, great little phones if taken care of...

Had 0 problems with both!

Great phone. Had mine 3 years now, i've just replaced the casing on it so it looks nice and new again.

Good camera even now compared to a lot of phones.
