New add on isn't too bad, but a tad linear to say the least (kinda expected)

Not a scratch on Point Lookout for me, but decent fun for a couple of hours.

I'm not far into it, took a break to eat but the aliens seem pretty tough!

Yeah they are a bit. I've played about half an hour. Pretty non exciting so far. I like the weapons though. The spaceship so far is just a bit bland.

Finally hit Level 30 though :D

Not on PSN yet. Was meant to be this month but they keep putting it back.

I've 100% with all of the trophies and just waiting for the DLC. I was so tempted to buy it again for the x360 but can't face going through the whole game again :)

Can anyone tell me if the quest back to Project Purity (with the massive robot leading the way) is the final one? Is it true that after competing that, there's no way to continue and finish everything else? I'm hoping I've got a save file from just before starting it so if it is the case, I can get everything else done first, because I'm really not ready to finish yet!
 
Ahh.....dammit. Just checked and my only other save file is from a month ago.

Maybe I'll just wait until the DLC comes out for the PS3 then. Damn, that's annoying!

If it helps I noticed today that they have added the DLC trophies, so in theory it shouldn't be far off. Also I believe the first expansion is the Broken Steel one which lets you carry on after the main quest :)

If you have the Broken Steel DLC, you can continue without any problems though, as it changes the end of the game to let you continue. :)

I think this just swayed me to buy the expansion. As good as the game is, I was completely disheartened by their attempts at an ending :(

Have to admit, it does look a VERY nice theme!!!
 
I completed the main game and then got stuck on the final mission of the broken steel add on. I say 'stuck' because I ran out of stimpaks and have been trying to assault the array at the top of the walker thingy to no avail. It was too hard with 3 stimpaks and the insanely annoying Enclave hellfire troops and tesla troops. Plus, because I'm a retard I only had a save from earlier in the mission so basically I had to start the game from scratch. :(

Although it's allowed me to be a good character this time through. Oh, and this post was pointless, just thought I'd share my savegame fails with you all. My OCD got the better of me and I just couldn't stick having loads of saves from different points in time but I think I've learned my lesson now. :p

This will seriously eat into your FIFA play time, Cheets! :p When I first got this I played nothing else for at least a week. I was completely hooked, it's so addictive!
