who was the first person you met from these forums?

Nobody, yet. Though there have been a few times when it would have been handy to have someone sit next to me when I've been trying to overclock and learn about PC's. That would be so much easier than using a forum. Not wanting to sound ungrateful though, I have learnt a lot since last November.:)

Rebel and Fruitbat were the first I met though they are long gone now. Fruitbat stayed at mine for a few days with his then trusty hound.

I was at Uni once and Benjo was leering over my shoulder, but I didn't find out until later and he didn't speak up at the time so meh! :p
 
I can't remember whether it was MatBlack, Aitch or Blackstar but I think they were the first three in the pub at the Edinburgh meet - all very lovely people as well.

Aside from that one of my mates sort of introduced me to this place and I've known him since primary school, I don't think he's been back on here since I joined though for some reason. :D
 
A mate of mine from Uni - L1J - introduced me to OcUK. After that the first person I met was MindYerBeak.
A little while later, Piggymon, AlphaNumeric, Smith03, and after that probably Feek? I've known some people from here for years and years now.
 
i think it was Jake000 - might be wrong though, he bought a PSP from me a few years back, met quite a few since though.
 
First person off this forums was invaderGIR at a JEEP test drive day A long time ago! I didnt really know it was him at the time and he didnt know it was me but it still counts :p

Through the forums directly, no-one as of yet.

My old flatmate introduced me to the forums but he rarely checks them, let alone posts anymore. Prior to the forums, we're probably looking at Sylv, rah^ and McDaniel.
