hit the bottle (for a few months) get all that emotion out. party like an animal, dance away the blues.what she did was out of order so at least the truth came out to see what sort of person see really is, you deserve better. once this nasty business is out your system the girl of your dreams is out there waiting for you to find her ;)

btw women are on the scrap heap around 28 to 30, thats when they try and hang on to the guy around that age. put it this way when your 35 girls 18 and up still want you, when a woman is 35 no one wants her.
 
Dude, you just broke my heart reading that. I feel as though I need to man hug you. That is harsh. Harsh.

Credit is where its due mate, you handled it flawlessly. Some guys would have given her torrents of verbal abuse. You played your cards well.

The next few weeks will be tough, try to sleep at as many friends houses as possible, you would be surprised how some good company helps. If you have money saved up now would be a good time for new clothes. Also buy yourself a bad ass steak with awesome gravy.

but im sure you will find some one a lot better who you do deserve mate

do what you have to do to get her out your system but don't let it dangle over for the rest of your life

what doesnt kill you can only make you stronger

just some experience ive had a coulpe of friends after experiences take thing with a pinch of salt or feel insecure no matter what dont let it happen to you

its just gna make you hurt yourself and ppl you will come in contact with in future

so give your self time and space go on a holiday whatever

and starting dating i guess do not let her ruin the rest of your life

Truly feel for ya mate. Sucks having your heart yanked out and spat on like that. But give it time and you'll move on and start to feel a whole lot better. Don't mull over what could have been, and don't, don't, DON'T consider hooking up with her again. There's plenty examples on here of how that'll end in tears.

It's all a part of the experience of life.

you are too young to be stuck with 1 woman and its better you find out what she is like now rather than when you have kids.....then you really are stuck because if you leave her then you also leave the kids.

so do you sacrifice your own happiness to stay with the kids?

it may be hard right now but in the long run it was better for you
 
Lucky escape from the sounds of things, I know 6 years is a horrible amount of time to have lost with someone but at least you got out now with all your cash and not have to go through a divorce.

If you cut her out of your life, and I mean truly cut, chances are she will come crawling back. Ignore her. It is very hard to take that kind of advice but if you can get past missing her and make her think you are happy without her and it hasn't affected you, she will begin to want to know why and start trying to contact you, if you contact her, she will know you want to talk to her and wont want to bother with you.

Agreed, however if you were to witness what I have in my life and all my friends/colleagues and aquaintances, you'd see how each and every single one of them, except 1 now that I think of it has had a women cheat on them, or has friends of their own that have. Totally understand this is from my perspective, not everyone else. Myself, my friends, my own goram family... it never ends.

I have not heard one story from a female of this happening to them in the 25 years I have been alive and it's worrying. No tthat I want it to happen but, I never hear it.

Not in real life, not on the internet via forums or video sites, nothing.
Granted most of the online places we visit inc. OCUK are male dominant, I don't actively look out for stories like these, you come across them like we all did here.

Edit: I honestly believe, just like some men and women are different in a stereotypical way, that women are more prone to look for something else before leaving the other, they like options, multiple ones, so they can jump to whichever suits them best and don't think of the person they are doing it to. Heck, you'll even find it here from some resident females, yes they divulge that much info to us. Tis all a bit heartless really.

The only reason I know it was only a 'handjob' (damn why am I even saying this? Bottle of vodka that's why!) was due to a water infection preventing her from any physical contact.

Appreciate the replies guys, like I said I really withheld with this post for around a week after reading some of the other 'relationship' threads just truly heartbroken over a **** situation.
