How many times you been banned?

I just avoid posting in the random image threads like the plague nowadays... It's ban hammer central in there.

It's good to look through but I don't fancy posting an image thats slightly too big, not orange enough or is more than 800*600 res and disappearing with concrete shoes :(
 
Got suspended a few years ago when there was a Console exodus, although I still proclaim my innocence and no Don could tell me what I had done wrong :p

Suspended few times for MM mishaps.

I feel exactly the same way :( People have broadband now, I don't see why it matters if they quote 1 or 2 images. Most of us have big enough monitors now too.

Actually I've not been suspended from this forum at all, but I did get banned from a business forum just because of my username! :(

I believe there is generally a 3 strikes rule... but you've got to apply some common sense really.

If someone has been here 6 years and swore 3 times and is a valueable member of the community it's hardly worth a ban. If someone has been here 6 months and has broken 3 separate rules (MM, sig, swearing) then they obviously couldn't give a monkeys whether they're hear or not...

its true. its evident from all the people posting their stories with the amount of post count they have etc
 
Suspended once but I have become incredibly bored of this place. It is nothing like it used to be. Shame really. I might get banned one day soon to relieve the boredom..... :(

Banned once, no idea why, i believe it could been because i linked a plug socket network adapter, don't think OCUK sell them.

Well you learn and move on...

I had noticed you had stopped posting more. Any particular reason?

Newer members seem to come and go much more frequently than they did even in the short time I have been here, and many of the classic posters have since long gone.

Still, despite its arguable decline, I think OCUK is an awesome forum, long live OCUK! *salute*
