It is a good time to go in many ways.. But not in others. I spent 18->21 living in a city, basically having a LOT of fun with near on unlimited means to do so. When I went to uni I wanted to just work, sort my life out and get back on track etc.. Not so easy to do in dorms, and I got labeled 'boring' etc., by people who dont know me just because I refuse to go to dorm/flat parties etc. When in reality I didnt go because they are utter tosh, not 'parties' at all and just loads of little kids circle jerking about their new taste of freedom. Still though, I went to a lot of non-uni nights, parties etc., and eventually found my feet/friends.. Just took a little while longer.
