Channel 4 to DROP Big Brother after Next Year

You do realise that Five will probably be snapping this up? I can't see it being off freeview channels just yet.. which is a shame. Go on Sky, buy it so I can get to play the Wii again!! (we only have one telly and she likes BB!!)

I'm just saying it's another one of lame these things to die therefore I'm happy about it. We can live in hope though; it may be the beginning of the end :)
 
Although I do watch it, the constant whining by people who don't like it does irritate the hell out of me, so maybe they can all go and whine about something else for a change, so a fair trade off.

I don't like X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing etc, etc, but I've found this fantastic combination, a brain and remote, they work very well together.:p

Exactly it's not about to go away while you have footballers earning 100k per week and girls aspiring to date them to be a wag.

Exactly the same people who wrote into points of view to complain about a show they hate but have watched every week.

Normally after 1 viewing I've found I can decide if I hate something then just not tune in anymore.

That, plus the ever-increasing tabloid-pleasing introduction of more and more socially vacuous specimens in an attempt to whip up some lowest-common-denominator public frenzy over the smallest thing.

Big Brother is a joke. It has been since the end of Season 1, and it needs to be finished.
 
I started highschool when the first series started. Was forced to watch it as we had to do a project on it in English! I have never wanted to kill myself so badly.

I can't see a problem with it, I just use my remote and switch to another channel or watch a DVD.
CH4 will only replace it with other crap so people will still moan.

You never know, with all the programming hours they have to replace they may actually come up with something worth watching.
 
Oh man I'm gonna miss Big Brother. :( I've seen every single episode of it from every series, including the spinoffs like Little Brother, Big Mouth, DR Uncut, etc...

Absolutely loved it. :(
 
I did like the early Big Brother shows - the people in them were far more normal than the ones you get in the show these days.

I feel that like various other shows out there that have grown tired that the formula just went wrong and perhaps the suits got involved? I feel the show got overexposed with add-on shows like BBLB and the poor editing of various people to fill the suits vision of what the years show should be like.

I feel that the peopel brought it in to the show, especially this year, are not the people who you can meet next door - the viewer can't relate to such person.

I think if they can't get the formula right then it is time to axe the show.
