I'm an amputee (RBK) and have been riding for about 4 years now, a good friend of mine who is an above knee amputee called Glen is doing the Durham Big Ride to raise money for Help for Heroes.

I'd just like to ask if anyone supports this charity or would like to give a little to help this great guy make a difference it would be really appreciated.

I've never posted anything like this on a forum before but the guy is always doing stuff for others so i thought I'd try and help him along a bit.

Thanks

Makes us realise how lucky we all are and how pathetic daily trivialities are. The guy is an inspiration.

I will donate based on the fact that he seems a decent chap who is supporting something worthy, and not just trying to stop fluffy bunnies from being prodded.

Quick bump in case anyone fancies supporting a great bloke doing his best for a worthy charity

I don't normally do these but it's a worthy cause and Glenn is an amazing bloke.

As said, it puts our normal day to day problems into perspective.

sorry don't have any space cash at the moment. Next time he does something i'll donate.
