Hey all,

As a few of you will know, finding a job in this climate is proving to be quite challenging.

I came across http://www.justit.co.uk/ and they provide training courses for about 3 or 4 months (you can work from home) and you pay them around £1700. The good thing is that provided you pass, they guarantee you a job in IT (around £18k), or they will pay your fees back to you.

I was just wondering has anyone used them before or something similar? Should I go for it?

I'd be very wary of this kind of thing. If I were you I'd go through their T&Cs with the finest of fine tooth combs. They probably only give you your money back if you don't find a job in 5 years and have to accept the first thing offered.

It's almost as bad as the TV advert offering IT training which says 'The average IT salary is £38k'. It probably is, if you include Bill Gates in the mean.

What is it you're looking to do anyways?

I applied with one of the other companies like these. Fee ended up at around £5k and they would loan me (for a price) the money. They sent around a 'specialist' recruiter but it turned out he was just there to sell me the course as he couldn't answer any basic IT related questions.
Just don't do it. Go OU or something at your local college/Uni.

Ok. Thanks for the advice.

JustIT are a recruitment agency like any other agency except they build up your qualifications through training and then place you into a position with one of their clients. This is in comparison with other agencies who will place you into work on your current qualifications. I'd go for it if I were you. Failing that, call them and ask them any questions you may have :).
