Corsair GT dilema

I have a dilema,my ram went faulty as it was an early batch! so now i wonder if i should get the 2000Mhz stuff again with the (8-8-8-24) timings or go for the 1866 (7-8-7-20) timings, also been looking at the 1866 (9-9-9-24) stuff,what do you recon ? sorry for yet another Dominator thread but i am about to press the buy button and really dont know if i am wasting the extra money.

It really depends on how high you want to run your BClock. If you are not over about a 225 or so, either of the 1866s are fine.

Great thanks, i guess i might go for the 1866 GT's then, i take it that all the current elpida chips are good now then ?

Yes, we've resolved that problem and the GTs are back in full production.

The one thing you will have to watch out for is the red paint on the memory cooling fins comes of if you knock it with the cooler,just be carefull when you fit it.
