Steam Weekend Deal: THQ Collector Pack

Hmm, tempting, just picked up DoW the original and 2 of the xpacs, but I hate the fact I have to dig out the disk everytime I want to play it.
Looking at getting DoWII anyway and heard some good things about TitanQuest and STALKER (when modded).

Frontlines and Full Spectrum Warrior.. seems criminal that they can still charge for FSW. Anyone got any news on frontlines? Done some googling and it looks like "just another" FPS

74,99€ lol no way man nearly double the price Fo tbh

UK£ 39.74 = 45.0359012 Euros

do they think Ireland's living standard and economy twice better then uks who are they kidding

I'm sure the higher VAT rate would increase the price a bit but its nothing new. So many goods are massively overpriced in Ireland when compared to UK.

It's not pointless at all, thats a cracking deal imo.

I am tempted myself.

Take out the COH's, Stalker and the DOW's which quite a few people already own in some form and the set is a complete waste of time (IMHO:p). I just feel these large pack offers very rarely offer a particularly great deal because quite often the better games will already be owned and you're left with average to dross games.

I don't own any of those games. It is clearly not a waste of time if it gives gamers the opportunity to buy these games which they may have missed earlier for price or other reasons.

Can someone list the games? Cant see the pictures thanks to image hosting sites being all blocked here at work :/

There you go.
I'm tempted as well, only own the CoH games from the list, enjoyed the DoW's at lan parties.

Be better if you could give / sell the games if you already own them and buy the pack. It's pointless for someone who owns COH for example to buy it and then, essentially, have one of there games taken away from them.

Pretty good deal on the face of it IMO considering DOW2 only came out this year. Obviously a lot of the other games are already bundled in anthology packs probably costing around a tenner each but I'd highly recommend this pack to anyone yet to play the Relic games.

I assume if you already had a copy of one of the included games registered/bought on your Steam account you would get an extra copy to 'Gift'. Or is that only Source games?

For people who just want the dawn of war / COH games, they have another package which is a bit cheaper.

I'm waiting for L4D to be on offer again. :o

40 quid for you but 75 € for me? WTF ! Euro rip-off :( !!!

I'm still not that interested though, already have CoH + OF, and not really interested in any of the others except the warhammer games but recently I've had a lot of trouble getting into new strategy games so no thanks...

Actually im just about to buy the Company of Heroes anthology (which i've seen for £9.99) and Dawn of War 2 (£15). Quite fancied playing titan quest too.

Would love to purchase that pack but shame im on really slow broadband :(

I believe that's only Valve games. I know you did with HL2 but I'm pretty sure people on here have posted that when they bought the W/End deal compilation packs they never got the extra game to gift.

Rip off if you ask me in that sense.
