Best protein shake?

hold on:

Per 53g:
Calories: 199.2
Protein: 45.58g
Carbohydrates: 3.6g
Of which Sugars: 2.5g
Fats: 1.48g
Of Which Saturates: 1.48g
Fibre: 1.0g
Sodium: 0.047g

add all that up, its over 53g in total!
not sure how it can claim to be MORE than 90% protein i dont know, at 53g p/s its 86%, at 55g (possibly more, it claims to have other stuff in it as well) its 82%.
shocking advertising

or am i missing something?

I think you're doing your sums wrong mate. Add that up and it only comes to under 51g?
Condsidering it's flavoured, sweetened and tubbed that's a decent price but I'd be a little wary of the quality of the protein used and also the sweeteners used.

Protein: 46g
Carbs: 4g
Fats: 1.5g

Mutters a little.... slurps tea...... hummms as the cogs start to turn..... slurps more tea..... yeah I get 51.5g

What else is there to add?

ah ha, i see what i done wrong :p
too concerned with numbers rather than what is written next to them :p

Sorry to hijack thread, but I'm really not sure what to get.

Reflex one stop

or the impact whey.

I don't mind paying the extra for onestop, mainly because a serving size is 75 grams and, although I can't take that in one go, I could have half, twice a day. Also, it contains 5g of creatine, which I wouldn't otherwise get in my normal diet. But the small downside is that it's 50% protein :(

Thanks!

I've used Nutrisport for months. £39.99 delivered for 5kg of flavoured mix for me is a well worth it. The protein is good, tastes nice and the price suits me.

Just this morning had another look, and started reading through peoples reviews..... seems its more sold on the 'numbers' rather than substance from what some people are saying

oh well....off to search for another whey/casein mix!

edit - but its soooo cheap! :D

Impact whey + creatine if you want creatine + Oats if you want carbs
If you want a bigger serving size, just add more

Just read muscletalk. The nutrisport arguement has been done time and time over.

It's fine for what it is if you want flavoured pussy. Most of your protein should be coming from proper food sources anyway ;)

I've been using Phd Pharma Whey pre/w.o and post/w.o and Phd Pharma Blend before bed(6-8 hour release). I had thought it was more expensive than the unbranded powders.

I've been getting 2.27KG (90 scoops - 30 days worth) for just under £30 per tub and the Blend for around £35 for (90 servings - 45 days worth).

I brought about 7KG's of unflavoured from BulkSupplementsDirect last year but after catching a bug shortly after taking it creating some psychological barrier making me sick whenever I took it had to send it back.

Anyway more to the point has the price of unbranded whey gone up recentley per KG?

As it seems to be working out more or less the same for me per kilo using Phd compared to unbranded and it has the added BCAA's, L-glutaime and Isolate. Also tastes incredible and mixes perfectly.

Edit: Was looking at flavoured, unflavoured is about £5 cheaper per kilo it seems.
