I make sure I dont touch any "shiney" bits because I dont want to get fingers marks on them.

I assume you don't have a PS3? You wouldn't be able to touch it!I make sure I dont touch any "shiney" bits because I dont want to get fingers marks on them.

Rip the box open in as messy fashion as possible, hurriedly unpack the controllers and cables and then just plug and play while all the cardboard and plastic bags still lay all over the floor.![]()
This. I like new firmware upgrades, xbox dash upgrades etc. Loads of new buttons, functions to try. Games can be played afterwards.

I like to sit my console down with a little Barry White, a good full bodied red and candlelight. I talk to it about the finer points of chainsawing and shotgunning opponents, and then we retire to the bedroom. Then the Mrs walks in, looks disgusted and goes and stays at her sister's. It blows over after a week or so, then it gets put under the telly next to the other consoles.
Yep! it's the impatience to try the shiny new thing, I can deal with the clean up later on!I often do this when I get new PC hardware to try out
keep it untidy as possible
You sound like a kid on Christmas morning.
I always plug it in, and spend about an hour configuring all the settings before I play.
One thing I love to do with new games I've been waiting for AGES for, ie: Forza 2 and soon 3is to get them on loaded (installed nowadays, ooh la la) and then wander through menus and settings etc.. putting off playing as much as possible even though I want to so much!
