I order an antec 902 elsewere sorry ocuk i do love ya was alittle cheaper though. They stated on their website that they attemped delivery at 10:22 and dropped a card through which is complete rubbish. Very unprofessional. However i did get my psu from ocuk today paid extra for saturday delivery thank you ocuk and thank you DPD.

In the companies I've worked for I've used pretty much every courier company there is. On balance they are all as bad as each other as far as things like this go. What you find as a client is that there is a honeymoon period where everything goes like clockwork for a while and then the laziness and ****ups start to creep in until they become a constant headache.

Best one we had from UPS was them leaving 3 grands worth of digital piano in someones front garden. In the rain.

Another customer we had asked which courier we used. On being told it was UPS he replied that he used to to work for them and had seen what went on at the camden depot. He'd come and pick his stuff up in person :)

You must make sure you full star out any swear words.

City Link seem terrible nowadays... loads of times had the old "carded" when they haven't even bothered trying to deliver, same with DHL or whatever...

DPD has been great for me so far, parcelforce seems to be getting better of late.

City Link are awful. They've done that to me too. If you're lucky, they might actually go to the trouble of dropping a card. If you're not, they won't even bother to do that.

Complain about it to City Link. I did, and my parcel arrived that evening even though I told them I was going to pick it up in person the next day. Very odd.

Should have paid that little bit extra and got DPD, i know that doesn't help now but there is a reason OCUK use them.

City Link have always been terrible with me

yea City Link are awfull

But i had the exact Same thing From DPD on a saturday delivery, They stated on their website that they attemped delivery at whatever time it was and dropped a card through which is complete rubbish too. i Even Saw the van Drive past and didnt stop ? so i dunno what they where playing at.

yeah I'm not fond of city link either. Hard to say which delivery company is the worst but I can say that UPS have the worst drivers. I think it is those US style vans they drive that brings out the worst in them.

city link are liars.
Correct. They are also muppets.

Back in good old days an OcUK competitor only offered City Link delivery, and after them ****ing it up too many times I switched to OcUK as they offered Amtrak and Royal Mail. Never looked back :)

One of my favorite dealings with CityLink was when I ordered two laptops and one case from one company (as one order), and a printer from another.
City Link guy at the back door with a Laptop and a case and his sheet says this consignment is "Three Boxes" when he's only got boxes 1 & 2.
Whilst still signing and correcting the sheet with him another City Link van knocks at the front door with box 3 of that consignment and the printer (a different consignment as it was from another company).
The drivers had a good laugh about it, and I vowed never to order anything that would come by City Link ever again.

DHL left a new PC right on my doorstep when I was out. Surprised no one decided to nick it. City link ran over one of my items I sent someone - I mean how do you physically get your lorry to run over 3 parcels?

They will always find a way :(

As for City link!! jeez..

last Christmas i was expecting a parcel.. waited in all my day off and no sign

long story short i ended up going to the depot.. sad woman on desk said i couldn't have it because it was in the warehouse on a pallet ( all of 30 feet away) it would have to be delivered tomorrow

When i refused to leave untill i got it she magically managed to find it within 5 minutes.

i've had this several times before  so whenever i buy something i try and make sure the company does not use citylink.

just do what i did ring up the local depot and tell the person on the phone excatly what has happend

ie

i have been up this morning since 8am and nothing has come at all not even a leaflet

however your tracking system states someone has already been to try and deliver my parcel

i would like an explanation!

something like that

next thing you know some jerk from city link knocks on your door in about 30-45mins and gives you your parcel:D

DHL did the whole dont knock but leave a card to me once. I went to the depot to complain and demand he delivered it. The driver turned up while I was there and told me I was lying before suggesting I try his job. I guess driving a van and not delivering parcels is tough after all.

Seriously you would be surprised..
been there done it..in theory it sounds like a cushy number
but in reality if the company you work for give out stupid unrealistic delivery times then it aint gonna happen..
no excuse for giving BS though

I was carded by royal mail, 'too big to fit through letterbox'. I was actually at home and heard the card get delivered and ran to the door and grabbed the mail man. He couldn't explain why he could not deliver a DVD through my letterbox - even demonstrated how to do it to him. Was it easier for him to write the card than actually do his job and deliver the package?

City link were brilliant for me. DPD on the other hand don't deliver until the late afternoon :(

Count yourself lucky, Citylink don't even bother trying to deliver round here. I'd have no problem at all with late afternoon deliveries if I knew the item was definitely going to turn up.

There all as bad as each other. At work i use parcelforce,Fedex and DHL and TNT.I sent a parcel out to HongKong on Thursday with DHL and they phoned me at 4:50pm on friday to tell me that there had been a chemical spillage at the east midlands depot and my parcel was now quarantined whilst they perform a chemical analysis. It has to be ther for monday so i am going to have some explaining to do when i get back to work on tuesday :(
